About Human Capital Builders
We founded Human Capital Builders with two primary objectives: to tackle challenging assignments alongside like-minded individuals and to create a network of skilled independent professionals who are passionate about their work. Our fellow (independent-) professionals choose to collaborate with us for the opportunity to join a team of hardworking individuals and to take on exciting assignments that would be hard to come by alone.
After years of working independently as HR professionals, we found ourselves repeatedly engaged in large and demanding transformation projects. Customer feedback highlighted the need for enhanced change capacity and capabilities within their HR organizations for major transitions.
Our collaborative approach, working with trusted independent professionals and our clients' internal teams, proved to be both challenging and immensely enjoyable!

With more than 20 years of experience as an accomplished Senior HR leader, Marco has gained extensive expertise in the Food, FMCG, High-Tech, Customer products and OEM industries. I have worked in corporate, private equity as well as privately held organizations.
I thrive in an HR / Transformation role that brings HR to the next level and enjoy strategic challenges. I am passionate about performance through people and thrive in change-intensive environments. My track record shows that I have successfully set HR foundations as an important contributor to the business. I am a results-oriented leader who balances the strategic/visionary with executing and moving the ball forward to make things happen.
Building and leading high-performing diverse teams is where I am at my best. I am committed to the people I work with and enjoy building a winning culture that gets the best out of people and generates results.
My driving force: "I want to be relevant for the careers of others". I consider myself a no-nonsense leader with a clear focus and impactful approach. I enjoy working with all kinds of people and have a good sense of humour that helps celebrate success once achieved.
Marco is the Founder of HR Capital Builders and has an Executive MBA from BSN, a Post University degree in HR from the University of Hasselt, and a bachelor's degree in HR. He also followed the AHREP programme at the University of Michigan.
